Due to the nature of the construction of the dam, the victim is believed to have entered the river at some point between the dam and where the body was found. There is a dam some four miles upriver from where the victim was found. The Schuykill River was running 8 to 10 feet above normal. In the week prior to the body being found, the weather had been unseasonably cold and there had been considerable rainfall. Authorities are uncertain how long he had been in the river. The body was found off Five Locks Road near Fisher Dam Road. The victim was located in the Schuylkill River in Perry Township on Jby two people that were tubing in the river.
